the speed is really only used when working with super fast ssd's. It is important to note that the super fast pcie lanes are really not needed for a gpu anyway. they do not come into play for an integrated graphics since they get their own direct path inside the cpu itself and then dedicated paths to the mobo outputs as well. The pci lanes are just fast connections from the cpu to your graphics card so they can be fed data as fast as possible when needed. so the data path goes from the cpu to the gpu to be processed and then out the outputs to your monitor. If I go to Wirecast preferences I can select between Intel 630P and NVIDIA P2200 but even selecting Intel 630P as the renderer it does not show QuickSync options on the output settings, only show NVIDIA NVENC and x264 (Software). BTW, QuickSync and NVENC are both showing on OBS Studio. I mostly use NVIDIA NVENC but seems odd that QuickSync is not showing up anymore. I did the update this past Wednesday and figure out that QuickSync wasn't there this morning while training somebody who will be taking care of the live streaming.
